The Interlachen Army JROTC Robotics team competed in their first competition on September 30th, the competition happened at Timber Creek High School in Orlando, Florida. The team took 7th place overall out of 18 schools.

The Interlachen Jr-Sr High School’s JROTC program started the extracurricular team 2 years ago under Army Instructor SFC (R) David Wettrich. The key Cadets involved in the competition are Team Leader/ Head Coder C/PFC Josiah Parrish, Special Project Manager C/PFC Alex Wormuth, and Builder Manager C/PVT Jett Moffet.

Their next robotics competition will be October 28th in Tampa, Florida.
