Congratulations to all the Cadets who participated in the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. This annual camp allows Cadets to learn team building skills and teaches them valuable life skills. They furthered their knowledge by learning how to read a Lensatic Compass and how to plot coordinates on a map. Cadets even learned first aid techniques such as how to apply a tourniquet and how to respond when someone is in shock. They also participated in a field day in which they participated against other companies in sports events and a military stakes event that required them to use knowledge they learned at camp.
