Irvington High School’s JROTC female Cadets were invited to the New Jersey Junior Achievement Women’s Leadership Academy on 31 March 2023. The Cadets associated with professional women from all walks of different industries. The Cadets collaborated with mentors and performed a multitude of activities ranging from resume writing, elevator speeches, public speaking, etc. The program formed a partnership with one of the organizations and several of our Cadets received scholarships. The JROTC program went on to attend two more sessions with Goldman Sachs and Farleigh Dickinson University inviting the young men to attend later in the year.
