The Marianas High School Dolphin Battalion’s 5th Annual Cadet Military Ball was held in the
World Resort, Taga Hall on May 13, 2023. This event was held to introduce cadets to formal
gatherings and activities. In addition, we commemorate our seniors, present cadets with earned
medals and honors and acknowledge outgoing battalion leadership.
Upon entering, guests and cadets were welcomed by the Dolphin Battalion Saber Guard.
After walking through Saber Guard, guests and cadets were ushered to their respective seats for
the evening. Posting of the colors and opening remarks followed shortly after.
After the remarks, the current S1 and future Battalion Commander presented the continuous
improvement plan (CIP) for the next school year. Following the CIP was dinner. While getting
dinner, outgoing Senior speeches were being presented. During dinner, raffles for various prizes
were taking place.
Soon after, we then conducted the change of command. During this time, we acknowledge
outgoing battalion leadership and welcome our new upcoming staff. Then we gave out awards to
multiple cadets in the program who have shown outstanding leadership skills. The announcing of
the royal court to place not long after.
The occasion was a huge success thanks to the Military Ball Committee and Staff. The
Military Ball Committee labored tirelessly to convert the Taga Hall into a ballroom, and they
were ecstatic to be invited. The response and turnout were outstanding. The school’s
administration and battalion staff went above and beyond to ensure that the event went off
without a hitch.
Dolphin Pride Leads the Way!
