Wichita South High School JROTC “Iron Titan Battalion” Color guard performed at the Annual Joan of Ark World War II ceremony. This event commemorates the liberation of the town of Olean France from the German Army on 8 May 1944. What makes this event so special is the town was liberated by the 137th IN BDE National Guard, from here in Wichita KS. Representatives from the town of Olean were here in town for the event where they discussed their grandparents’ stories of the day they were liberated.
