Cadet/Lieutenant Sandreka Trice, (center) is pictured here after signing a contract with the National Guard after completion of High School. After high school she will go to Basic Training for nine weeks and attend her Advanced Individual Training to learn her job skills. Joining the National has created a path for Sandreka to attend the College of her choice with all expenses paid for by the Army, as well as getting paid to attend drill one weekend out of month. Sandreka will also have the opportunity to travel during the Summer while she attends her two weeks of training to sharpen her Military Occupational Skills.
Cadet Trice is the first cadet from Mitchell County High School Army JROTC Eagle Battalion to sign a contract to serve our great nation. Way to go Cadet Trice!!!
CTAE and the National Guard are doing great things to Motivate Young People to Be Better Citizens!!!
