CHARLOTTE, NC — The Palisades High School Army JROTC Battalion (Puma Nation), participated in its second ever parade. It was a tremendous privilege for The Charlotte Pats to allow us to partake in this long-awaited Saint Patrick’s Day parade – as it was canceled for four years due to COVID. Puma Cadets diligently prepared for several weeks to hone their drill and cadence skills in an effort to demonstrate their hard work and present the best version of themselves to the local community.  The Cadets were exceptionally motivated and had tons of fun while their battalion spirit.

C/PFC Phan interviewed one of his peers and was able to capture the following statement:

“The Parade was amazing! I loved how we were singing cadence, which was fun.  I liked how we were marching in the city and people were praising us and cheering us on.  I loved how we hung around after and enjoyed some food with friends. A shout out to the parents that provided snacks and drinks for the entire group.” -Cadet Ryan Ly
