The purpose of the JROTC Program Accreditation (JPA) inspection from the 4th Brigade Cadet Command is to evaluate the overall performance of the Maverick Battalion. To maintain our status of our Gold Star with Distinction, the unit must score a minimum of a 95. Our units Continuous Improvement Plan(CIP) is to raise our battalion’s average GPA’s by 0.3. It’s a pleasure to announce that we have scored a 98.15 on our JPA Inspection! The battalion leadership would not only like to give a congratulations to the entire battalion but would also like to extend our appreciation to all cadets that were involved in the inspection. Whether you were a part of the briefings for BCIP / Service Learning, Drill for Platoon/Color Guard, had your Cadet Portfolio reviewed, or even helped logistically with setting up and breaking down for the inspection, your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. We rewarded those cadets with a challenge coin! This milestone that the battalion has reached could not have been done without the help of those who stepped up to that plate.
