HUTCHINSON, KS — Wichita South High School JROTC “Iron Titan Battalion” Traveled to the Kansas State Fair grounds in Hutchinson KS to compete in the Kansas State Archery Tournament. The Iron Titan BN did an outstanding job winning 3rd place overall in the 3D competition and 5th place overall in the bullseye competition. Cadet McPherson won 2nd place in the 3D competition for all High school boys division.  Overall the Titan BN is now qualified for the JROTC National tournament in Salt lake City UT the 27-30th of April, as well as the NASP Nationals the same dates. The National tournament is by invitation only and the Titan BN has made the cut out of all the JROTCs across the Western United States. This kind of recognition is only possible through hard work, dedication, and professionalism that has become the bedrock of our program. Great Job!!
