MIAMI, FL — Miami Northwestern Senior HS (MNWSHS) Army JROTC Cadets who had either Paint and Auto Body class and/or Welding class teamed up to design and produce Flag and Guidon stands for the JROTC Battalion. The Cadets learned that welding and painting are not a simple process. The project required very detailed planning, time management, procurement, design and measurements with an understanding of math, physics and chemistry. SAI COL Garcia, SFC Oriol and the Cadets sincerely appreciate the collaboration, corporation and patience of Mr. Cantor and Mr. McClure of the MNWSHS Career Training & Education (CTE) department. “We told the Cadets what we needed and they worked to get it done.” said AI SFC Oriol.
