CPT (Ret) George H. Jons Jr., Senior Army Instructor (SAI) for Birdville High School Army JROTC, shares the following news:
“Birdville High School JROTC Hawk Battalion Color Guard teams have been busy this year. Our female color guard team posted the colors for the National Women of Law Enforcement Conference on 20 September 2022. They were recognized for their excellence by numerous large city police chiefs to include, Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas.”
“Our mixed color guard team posted colors for the Fort Worth Air Power Council Christmas Party. Numerous retired general officers including MG(R) Kevin Pottinger, Office of the Governor, Greg Abbot were in attendance from which they received thank you letters for their excellence.”
