The Myers Park High School (Charlotte NC) JROTC Cadets participated in The Carolina Freedom Foundation Veterans Day Parade in Uptown Charlotte NC. This parade showcases local middle and high school bands, the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program units, antique cars, and other veteran organizations. In 2016 more than 2,000 participants gathered to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This community event brings the community out to help celebrate and give tribute to veterans of all branches.

Our Cadets are grateful for having the opportunity to support our community and show our appreciation to all veterans
