On May 10, 2025, at the Hollywood American Legion Post 43, the Daughters of the American Revolution, a lineage based non-profit organization, held its Annual District Regional Meeting. There, the Daughters of the American Revolution awarded All City Colonel of the Army JROTC Los Angeles School District, Cadet Colonel Julia Huang a four-year academic scholarship.

The Army JROTC LAUSD is composed of 2,500 cadets, in which Cadet Colonel Julia Huang represents the district as the highest-ranking cadet. Cadet Colonel Huang as a senior at Lincoln High School has thrived and continues to set an example with her exemplary leadership and academics with a 4.7 GPA.

Cadet Colonel Huang is very appreciative for being recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution for her academics and Army JROTC success. She will be attending Harvard University and pursuing a degree in medicine.
