Sam Houston MSTC’s Armed Color Guard Team won national championship in division one and all Army on Daytona Beach, FL. During the All Army and All Service National Drill Meet, the Sam Houston Black Knights Elite won both All Army and All Service color guard titles. The color guard consists of commander C/COL Elizabeth Rigney, Org Flag C/MSG Yamileth Aviles, Right Guard C/MAJ Katherine Alamia, and left guard C/CSM Alessandra Rodriguez. The team is coached by alum Adam Obregon.
