On April 19th, the Bulldog Battalion proudly supported Homes for Our Troops, a privately funded nonprofit that builds and donates specially adapted homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans. This event marked the kickoff for constructing Army Specialist Will Thomas’ customized home, designed to meet him and his family’s needs.

Smyrna JROTC played a vital role, assisting with venue setup, welcoming guests, and presenting the Colors. Additionally, Bulldog cadets and other attendees took part in a heartfelt gesture, writing messages to Specialist Thomas and his family on two 4×6 boards that will be displayed in their new home as a lasting tribute to the community’s support.”
