Garfield High School hosted the 6th Annual Super Bulldog 5k Run and Health Fair. The event has become a community staple which allocates all donations and funds to assist graduating seniors.
This year, Garfield High School’s own Army JROTC cadets participated in and behind the scenes playing a large role in the success of the Bulldog Jog and Fair. Members of the JROTC Color Guard performed the opening ceremony, other cadets volunteered in preparation and setting up, and had members of the Recondo running team participating in the jog. The Mighty Bulldog Battalion had the honor of having the largest team and our own Kelia Naranjo-Champion led the way as the 1st place in the overall women’s division.
