The South Texas schools conducted Camp Machape JCLC at Camp Zephyr on March 25-29, 2025. The event included high ropes course, physical fitness, archery, rock climbing, marksmanship, drownproofing, land navigation and knots training. There were several instructors involved in this events. On March 25-29, 2025 the following South Texas schools conducted Camp Machape JCLC at Camp Zephyr Commanded by LTC (R) Barrera and SGM (R) Rand in Sandia, Texas: Ed North, Kingsville, Roma, Economedes, PSJA, PSJA SW, PSJA Memorial, PSJA North, Mission, Mission Vets, Carrizo Springs, McAllen Rowe, Edinburg Vela, Laredo Alexander, and Weslaco. The cadets conducted high ropes course, physical fitness, archery, rock climbing, marksmanship, drownproofing, land navigation and knots training. The cadets learned valuable lessons in leadership, discipline and teamwork while building their self-confidence, lifelong friendships and camaraderie.
