On January 25th, 2025, James Madison High School Army JROTC hosted their first annual Raiders competition, inviting schools across California. The competition consisted of 20 teams represented by different units across the state, and many units even being a part of different branches of the military.
Awards were handed out to teams who placed highly overall, the best in specific events, and medals were given to a male cadet and female cadet who had the best time tackling Madison’s very own Obstacle Course! It was an incredible bonding experience for JROTC cadets all across the state, and Madison will be working very hard to make this event grow bigger and bigger throughout the years.
