On Tuesday December 10th, the Brackenridge High School JROTC program took 30 highly motivated Cadets to Six Flags – Fiesta Texas to support the 20th Annual Wrappin’ with Jack toy drive and gift wrapping event. It was well attended by this extraordinary community in support of Family Services of San Antonio.
Brackenridge High School JROTC had the privilege of donating more than 50 new toys in support of this worthy event. This was yet another opportunity for our Cadets to give back, personally experience the value of selfless service, and fulfill the mission of JROTC – to motivate young people to be better citizens
.
Their generosity will allow many less fortunate children to receive well deserved presents this holiday season. Our Cadets really enjoyed the experience, had an opportunity to interact with other supporters of this great community, and look forward to being a part of the final phases of this venture – possibly sorting and delivering gifts to families prior to December 25th.
We are already looking forward to the 21st Annual Wrappin’ with Jack event in December of 2025!
