Knox County Tennessee Mayor Glenn Jacobs presented Cadet Command Sergeant Major Pressley Berger with the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement Medal at the annual JROTC Military Ball on 7 Dec 24. This medal is awarded by the US Army Cadet Command to only 80 Cadets worldwide, meaning that she is in the top 2 percent of ALL Army JROTC Cadets. C/CSM Berger is a Senior at Jefferson County High School, in Dandridge TN. She was a Raider Team Commander, Varsity Tennis player, and member of the Academic Team that finished 2nd in the 2023 Army JLAB in Washington D.C.
She served in every company level leadership position, and as BN Plans and Operations Officer (S3) prior to her selection for BN CSM. She plans to pursue a career in medicine.
