Denbigh High School’s JROTC cadets stepped up to serve their community once again, volunteering at Knollwood Elementary School’s Family Literacy Night on Friday, November 22nd, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
The event, aimed at promoting family engagement and literacy, brought together students, parents, and educators for an evening of fun, interactive activities designed to foster a love of reading and learning. The Denbigh cadets assisted with event logistics, provided support during activities, and helped to ensure the evening ran smoothly for all participants. Their involvement exemplifies the JROTC program’s commitment to leadership, service, and community building. By volunteering their time and energy, these cadets are not only giving back to the local community but also reinforcing the importance of teamwork and civic responsibility.
