At Wiesbaden High School, the JROTC marksmanship team trains rigorously every week to sharpen their shooting skills and improve accuracy. Under the guidance of their captains, Cadets Cydnee Lassiter, Aidan Sweney, and Benjamin Pollak, the team focuses on precision, discipline, and teamwork during each practice session. The captains lead by example, demonstrating proper techniques and motivating members to perform at their best. Warrior Battalion cadets posted results in the postal qualifying match – the first team scored 1138 points. And second team with 1115 points to qualify for Northeastern Region. Their dedication prepares the team for upcoming competitions and builds confidence in every participant. When asked about what it means to be part of a team, C/MAJ Cydnee Lassiter says, “to me, being part of a team means to work together and grow together.”
