In Independence, Missouri, at Truman High School, the Patriot Battalion has been organizing a Veteran’s Day Assembly for eight years. It’s been decades since the city had a Veteran’s Day Parade so they decided to host one in honor of the 33rd President Harry S. Truman. This is the 2nd Annual Veteran’s Day Parade organized by the JROTC cadets.
