The Merritt Island HS Army JROTC Battalion stands at the forefront of halftime activities during the Merritt Island vs Satellite HS homecoming football game. The Merritt Island Mustang Battalion has enjoyed the full support of the school and the community since its inception as an Honor Unit with Distinction in August 1969. Five senior JROTC students represented on the Homecoming Court show that the Mustang Battalion is well ingrained in Student Life at Merritt Island. Go Mustangs!
