On Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 – Mr. James Hokett arrived at Brackenridge High School to make a huge donation of daily use items to the JROTC Program. His son was a member of the Mighty Eagle Battalion through SY 2020/2021 – serving on both our Nationally Recognized Armed Drill Team, and our Male Physical Fitness Team.
During the summer of 2021, Mr. Hokett lost his son due to a tragic incident. This was a terrible loss for this family, the #Battalion and the entire #Brackenridge community. The community made a huge donation that included different amenities to the family for their lost.
After the donation, Mr. Hokett shared a message with the Cadets – stating the importance of utilizing the available resources the school has to offer as life presents its challenges and difficulties.
The Mighty Eagle Battalion is grateful for Mr. Hokett, his family, for their support.
