On Aug. 17, 2024, Deltona High School presented the colors at the Coca Cola 400 last Saturday night at the Daytona International Speedway. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is an annual NASCAR Cup Seres stock car race at Daytona International Series circit, The other being the Daytona 500 Speedway. First held in 1959, the event consists of 160 laps. 400-miles (640km) and is the second of two major stock car evnts held at Daytona on the Cup Series circuit, the other being the Daytona 500.
