Mallard Creek HS started a Middle School JROTC Club at Ridge Road Middle School. This is the inaugural year for this program, meant to motivate middle school students and help them understand the benefits of enrolling in JROTC in High school. The program includes 6-8th grade students, these potential cadets are taught things such as Drill and Ceremony, the Cadet Creed, how to operate as a team, and the importance of getting off to a good academic start when they enter high school.  The club had 22 members this year. Students received a certificate of completion and appreciation for being a part of the club this year.
